Ipod dock/bases

Hey all,
My wife wants an Ipod dock for in the kitchen/dining room. While we are not sound snobs we don't exactly want to listen to tin-can sounding small radios. Have any of you had good/bad experiences with some of the small docks?

Like real nice. Saturday's going to be one of the last nice days of the year, so something by the capital where I could walk by the lake afterward would be great.

Brewers clubhouse sale: December 4-5

In case you need something to look forward to before April, or the On Deck event in January, or even baseball's winter meetings...the annual clubhouse sale is scheduled to be Friday and Saturday, December 4-5. I know I'm looking to take the day off on 12/4.

Last year's sale lasted Friday-Sunday, if I recall correctly. The email I received from our ticket rep doesn't indicate that Sunday is included this time. I imagine a press release will occur closer to...

College Basketball 2009-2010

Rather than add to the long college hoops threads from prior seasons, I thought I'd start anew. It's on my mind because we have tickets to watch tonight's epic clash between Wisconsin and Bemidji State.

We attended the red and white scrimmage the weekend before Halloween and I almost immediately decided that Mike Bruesewitz is my favorite new Badger. (Of course, with those two frosh gone after the first weekend of the school year, there are only two true freshmen...

Growing a Moustache for Movember?

I didn't see any threads about this, so I thought I'd ask if anyone was growing a moustache for Movember? Long story short, it's basically like wearing pink for breast cancer awareness only men wear moustaches for prostate and testicular cancer awareness. New New Music Thread

A quick search and I couldn't find the old thread so I thought I would start a new one.

The Flaming Lips new album, Embryonic, is taking me some time to get into. I am not very familiar with their older work, but love the last 3 albums. The new cd is not nearly as poppy as the last three, but is still very good. I think it will grow on me over time, but right now some of the tracks are tough listens.
