Disabled profile blocks still viewable

It's been discovered that when one "disables" certain Yuku profile blocks, the information contained within is still viewable by savvy members unless one first sets the block's permissions to be viewable to "only me." The "official" response from Yuku is, "Disabling a function removes it from view, but it is unrelated to the actual privacy settings of the block." In other words, this falls into the category of "expected behavior."...

Salaries page update

I was looking at the current salaries page and I noticed that Wolf's contract is in there. However, I also notice that Hoffman's contract was not entered. Neither was Hawkins, but I'm assuming that this is because his contract is not official yet.

Lately in the evening hours here I've been unable to access the forums on brewerfan and lambeau leap. Wondering if it's jsut me or if others having the same issues.

It seems like when people in the know post here it inevitably leads to conflict with posters. At some point posters either antagonize them (maybe to get them to give more info?) or think that the person (Gamel/Salome) or people (Agent39's clients) they are close to or represent don't walk on water or cure cancer and draw their ire. I like some of what these posters bring; but I'm not sure its worth the negative PR for the site or the heartburn for the either side.

Icons don't work for me

Over the last 4 or 5 months (or perhaps coinciding with when I downloaded Windows explorer 8), most of the icons above don't work for me (i.e I can insert a picture, I can't use smilies, can't insert video). When I click on those icons nothing happens and I get the triangle exclamation mark on the bottom of the page with an "error on page" warning.

I try using Firefox, but with that the icons don't show up at all for me.

Any help with this would...

Hey Guys, so we've basically done two donation drives every year or so for the past few years. One for the forum costs, and one for everything else (the bulk of that being hosting costs for the rest of the site). Basically, the base site cost is $50 a month ($600 a year) plus a small fee for domain registration and variable fees for bandwidth overruns (which affect us during some of the heavier months). Just thought I'd point out that the "Forum" bar on the RHS of the front page is linking to the old ezboard forum address and gives the following MySQl query error when clicked.

Cafepress has been pretty decent as far as selling on-demand merchandise. It's a snap to administrate, and easy to use. However, you're pretty tied down to the types of products you can print your design on.

Capturing Audio

I guess this is a 2 part question.

1. Since the MiLB audio doesn't archive, if I were to capture it and put it up on the net so Mass could link it, would that be a copyright infringement?

2. Working off the assumption I'm not infringing on MiLB, is it possible to capture streaming audio? Some of the team feeds pop up in a separate FF window, some of the audio comes through Windows media player. I'd be looking for a one size fits all sort of thing if I could...

one line, meaningless posts

Some of the threads are really being cluttered up with the above, making them really tough to get through. 90% of them are just total wastes, chat room type stuff. Isn't that against the rules? An example would be the stuff in the minor league link forum, which is Jim's quality links and a bunch of "Wow, Jim hit a fly ball to the warning track!" style posts.

I'm on my work laptop and Brewerfan.net looks awful on both Safari and Firefox. It's always been like this on this computer (since last October). It runs Leopard. Anyone with this problem?

For those who like using the Quick Reply editor, but don't like the hand formatting involved, I've been sent bookmarklet code that will allow you to replace it with the WYSIWYG editor.
