I've got to agree with you Mass, watching Chris Dennis hobble around out there last night was way beyond ridiculous. This "roster" has been a problem since day one and needs to be fixed.
According to the booster club (I am involved with hosting players) there is some movement in the works. No specifics, there never is just a heads up, but look for movement both up and down.
I've also caught 2 of 3 games in this homestand and the team is playing better. However this...

I was actually at the Huntsville game, and it was a really strange nite. The entire team appeared a little out of sync. It was 96 degrees and very humid. Once again at Helena, LHP Josh Romanski's debut as a pitcher is delayed as he's needed to DH once again.

Outfielder Logan Schafer is missing a second consecutive game with a strained groin, similar to Cutter Dykstra.

If a player needed to exit tonight's game, there is only backup catcher Derrick Alfonso and pitchers to step in.

Announcer Steve Wendt has commented that at least his scorecard is relatively clean each night.

Nix homers in the 1rst to put Nashville up 1.

Ungs with a nice start but Jones had a tough inning, 2 hits and 2 BBs but limited the damage to 1 run and the score in Huntsville is tied.

Braddock on short rest interests me, especially after how he pitched last time out, too bad BC is delayed.

Seidel has pitched well the last couple times out, nice to see.

Helena games need to start sooner on the weekends... just for my convienence.

Caleb Gindl is tearing it up, nearly .400 in the last week and a half, with a two-run double his first time up tonight. Not 20 years old until August 31st. Strikeout rate way down during this stretch as well. Sweet.
