specialist Richard Marks will perform the surgery, and Gillespie expects to be ready for the start of next spring training. Gillespie, a third-round pick out
of Oregon State in 2006, hit .281 with 14 home runs and 79 RBI in 131 games with Class AA Huntsville this season. ]]></description>
