Well, Chris did pitch the 9th, so I guess he was that day's closer. But I get what you're saying; it does smack of the kind of fact checking you'd
get from ESPN on a holiday, or from ESPN on any team not in their chosen few.

Andy Roddick and Roger Federrer arre better athletes than me.

To go along with this match, tennis is too tense for me.

I watched this too. Federrer is a machine. I'm disappointed I couldn't find any all-you-can-eat establishments showing the match. That would be an
awsome up-grade for Centre Court at Wimbleton to consider.

Man, I really feel terrible for Roddick, he played amazingly well but just came up short. For over 4 hours, Federrer couldn't even break Roddick's
serve, that 2nd set tie break was a killer for Roddick.

"I was put in a little bit of a 'zim-zam.'" -- Ken MachaThis sounds like something that Gil would say on the Simpsons.

The Brewers need a copy editor for their Gameday programs. I'd do it.

Every time I see a photo of Dave Bush throwing a pitch, his face reminds me of the Elephant Man.

I really want to go see The Hangover.
The wife wants to see it - but not that badly. It's much easier when she doesn't want to see it at all, and I can just go to the theatre without her. Now I am stuck waiting a few months for it to come out on DVD. |

I thought the Hangover was a bit overhyped, to be honest. It was funny, but not THAT funny.

There were a lot of beach balls in the stands at tonight's Brewer game. Which got me wondering, do people ever actually bring beach balls to the beach any
more and if so, what do they do with them there?
Also, after a few strike outs tonight, I turned to my son and said they should have a sound bite of Monty Burns saying "excellent" every time Mike Burns strikes out a batter. If they had already done this before, or if I missed it earlier in the game I honestly was unaware of it, because the next time he struck someone out, sure enough, there it was - "excellent!" Maybe I missed my calling in life. |

I just picked up my mom from the airport, she was returning from a trip to Japan. She told me she bought me a Yomiuri Giants jersey, so I let myself get a
little excited. Two sizes too small.

I was intrigued by the overturned beer truck and was about to head out to the scene to help clean up until I read this line:
hauling lime-flavored beer. I'm staying home.
