Gerut for Gwynn, nice trade -- for San Diego! (topic) When the Gerut/Gwynn trade went through, I thought it was a head scratcher. Why trade away a left-handed outfielder for a left-handed outfielder? TGJ to SD; Jody Gerut to MKE (topic) Got a tweet from Gord Ash that said there would be a press release on a transaction within the hour. Tom Haudricourt followed up, saying he expected it to be a smaller trade (and even said "no, it's not Peavy"), and that he was looking into it. |
