Huntsville's front office confirms that Milwaukee has signed 25-year-old infielder Michael Garciaparra, brother of Ramon and the
(thus-far) failed former # 1 draft pick (# 36 overall) of Seattle in 2001. In 2007, Philadelphia claimed Garciaparra off waivers. he had not played pro ball
in 2008 until now.
