In a recurring theme of an incredible number of pitchers selected by the Brewers in this year's draft, Bowman is yet another good-sized, projectable and athletic righty that profiles in a very similar fashion to many of the arms selected before him. He has had very good success at VMI, with power stuff and a power approach that leads to a lot of strikeouts. His fastball sits in the low-90s, and he has a nasty yet inconsistent slider. His changeup is more of a work in process, which may lead to a move to the bullpen down the road, where he could thrive with an aggressive and fearless approach.
