BREWERFAN.NET SCOUTING REPORT:
Built big and strong, Willingsky has an intimidating presence on the mound. His fastball runs up to the mid-90s, and he shows some nice late life on that pitch. Both his slider and his curveball also show very good, hard break when they're working for him, but he really struggles to throws all three of his pitches for strikes consistently. He has been wild, walks far too many batters and he can be hittable when he's forced to serve one across the plate. There are some character issues involved, as he missed the entire 2007 season after being ruled ineligible due to academic reason, but he seems to have the perfect demeanor for being a late-inning reliever.
