As Billings continues to grow into his tall and projectable frame, his fastball velocity has exploded. He has added 10 mph to his fastball over the last two years, and nows sits in the upper-80s to low-90s with the ability to touch the 92-93 range and plenty of room for added improvement. He has always had good control, and also throws a curveball, changeup and split-fingered fastball. He is a very intriguing high-reward prospect that could continue to blossom the next few years in the lower levels of the minor leagues, if he doesn't pursue his commitment to Shelton State junior college.
