He is a very bright young man that has always excelled in school, and is a man of many talents with many hobbies outside of school and baseball. He throws a very good sinking fastball and a slurvy breaking ball to go along with a show-me changeup. His fastball velocity sits in the upper-80s but he can touch the 90s on occasion. He pitches to contact, inducing ground balls, and knows how to change speeds and throw strikes. He started his college career at Virginia Tech.
