ROUND 23: Marcus Knecht - OF
6'1", 200, R/R, St. Michaels Col School (Canada)
BREWERFAN.NET SCOUTING REPORT:
Knecht is a good all-around athlete and interest outfield prospect with the ability to hit for average with some power. He has good speed, but his throwing arm is fringe average and may limit him to left field. He's one of the few Canadian prospects this year that hails from the province of Ontario, with most of the talent coming from British Columbia as evidenced by the Brewers selections of Lawrie and Wawrzasek. He has played for Canada's junior national team and has plenty of exposure hitting with a wood bat. Keeping him away from Oklahoma State will be difficult.
NOTES & INFO:
Committed to play college at Oklahoma State
