Decker is a fine all-around athlete that stars on the football field for the Golden Gophers and has legitimate NFL promise as a wide receiver. That athleticism translates well to the baseball field, although his overall game is raw since he didn't play baseball prior to this spring since high school. With very good speed he projects to be a threat on the basepaths and can cover ground in the outfield. He has potential with the bat, with a good lefty swing that projects to hit for more power when and if he focuses more on baseball. He's a very intriguing prospect, but one that will be difficult to sway away from the gridiron.
