Nolin, like Dan Meadows, has a very large frame for a left-handed pitcher. He is physically matured at 235 pounds, but there are some concerns that he'll have to keep an eye on his conditioning. He throws in the upper-80s and commands his fastball well. His big-breaking slow curve sits in the low-70s, and he also throws a changeup to keep hitters off balance. As a 50th round pick, he may be more inclined to honor his college commitment to San Jacinto, a junior college known for developing young pitchers.
