If not, then there's something wrong with the idiots that run things in the Brewer farm system..... I mean what more do these kids have to do? |

"idiots" are few and far between. Care to expound on why you think they are idiots? Surely it can't just be because they've kept Lucroy (a
catcher in his first full pro year and still progressing on defense) and Cody (who is doing something of a rehab assignment after elbow problems held him back
in extended spring training) in West Virginia until early-mid June.

MLB.com's Adam McCalvy:
Outfielder Lorenzo Cain's stay at Triple-A Nashville will be a short one, according to assistant Brewers general manager Gord Ash. Cain, rated Milwaukee's ninth-best prospect entering the season, was promoted from Class A Brevard County to Nashville this week when Mel Stocker left the team for the birth of a child. Stocker was given four days off, and when he returns, Cain will be sent back down. |

happen for a bit.

For now, the Nashville rotation is set (Ben Howard, Richie Gardner, Sam Narron, Lindsay Gulin, and Chris Narveson). That's not exactly imposing, but it is
a set five. The Sounds have a doubleheader Sunday with no day off until the 25th, so they will need someone to spot start Monday.

Not exactly a list of top-tier prospects that now make up the Nashville starting rotation, perhaps a sign of how thin pitching has become in the top levels of
the Brewers system. But it is interesting, and perhaps a good sign, that those starters at AAA and AA that are still considered prospects are all left-handed
(Narron, Narverson, Hammond, Welch, Miller).

We saw a Greensboro player blog in which he mentioned his buddy Wes Etheridge's injury at West Virginia, so we now know how he landed on
the DL:
He took a ball off the ankle about two weeks ago and fractured his ankle so he's actually on the DL for a while. He said that he'll hopefully be ready to go by the beginning of the second half. |

LHP Chris Cody has been transferred to Brevard County. We can all exhale now after waiting for that move.
RHP Pedro Lambertus, who struggled at West Virginia in six early-season appearances, gets another chance with the Power, moved up from extended spring training. |
