Jermaine Dye is now a free agent this probably kills a Hart/McGehee trade to the Braves for Vazquez/Lowe though. I would expect the Braves to sign Dye if they
can trade Vazquez or Lowe to another team.

I'd like to sign Dye, and insert him in the 5 hole, but I'm not so sure he could handle playing in the OF everyday anymore. I know Melvin was
interested in him before he signed w/ the White Sox a few years ago though.
What makes you so sure he will sign w/ the Braves, or that Javier Vazquez is even available? |

I think Dye is stuck in the AL, likely as a DH to finish his career. I doubt this means much to the Braves, or the Brewers for that matter.

I would like Dye on the Brewers as well. Move hart to center then put Dye in right. This would give Prince some protection in the line-up.. Sounds like a
plan, but wont happen.

I didn't see him last year, but I heard that Dye was brutally bad in the OF. And he's only going to get worse as he gets older. Like someone said -
probably a DH. There's going to be lots of those types out there this year.
