great guys, any ideas for my website, feedback is badly needed

If anyone has any other questions and what not just post them here, Ill be on the road alot this month but will check back when I can.

I've always pursued my own guys. I've never had a kid just show up.

I will be in arizona this week watching the guys. lorenzo faced eric gagne the other day and darren got a bunt hit yesterday. will keep everyone posted. J

Some minor league awards were given out today for ST, Darren Ford ran a 6.11 60 time today, Cain won the vertical leap and Mike Carlin won another award (cant remember the exact award). Cain also ran a 6.29 60 time.

Hi Josh. Questions:

Who was your first Brewer client, and what sold him on your agency? Did that client then have any influence on obtaining future Brewer clients via good word-of-mouth?

Our agency has had Cain since he was at TCC. I lived in the area and was lucky enough to have found Lo way back when. Our area guy has known Lorenzo since he was at madison HS and he was our first brewers player. I myself was scouting Darren Ford at Chipola JC, a rival school to TCC at the same time I found Lo, and it just kind of worked out that the two were under control by the Brewers. Chapman is from the same area and has a long relationship with our N. Florida area scout while Brent Brewer was a referral, which is the best compliment an agency can get. We work hard to get all of our clients, so you'd have to ask them what sold them on us, but we like to believe we treat everyone like they are a major leaguer while they are in the minor leagues.

This is obviously a competitive business. What is your standard operation for making first contact with a potential client, and what is your ratio of contacts vs. commitments? I imagine even 1-in-100 might be considered a success.

Truthfully, Ive never even thought about this, and couldn't even guess at an answer. We dont pursue players under contract with other agencies so we dont really go after guys in pro ball already unless there is a special situation or a referal. As for amateurs we only go after four or five players a year.

Can you provide a laundry list of what services you provide for your clients? Not in super detail, but an overall list of priorities.

We just try to do everything for the players so all they have to worry about is playing baseball.

Is there any type of endorsement or affiliation that you may have wished to pursue for a client but the parent organization frowned on?

We havent had this problem yet since endorsements are usually a personal choice and the teams tend to stay out of those affairs.
